Tour Plan
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. After checking in and taking some time to relax, begin your journey with a visit to the lively Thamel district, the heart of Kathmandu's tourism scene. Wander through its colorful streets filled with cafés, local handicraft shops, and traditional restaurants. In the evening, enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine while experiencing the city's vibrant atmosphere. This easy first day helps you settle in and prepare for the adventures ahead.
Spend the day exploring Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Start with the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, an important Buddhist pilgrimage site known for its peaceful ambiance. Later, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square to admire centuries-old temples, palaces, and traditional Newari architecture. End the day by tasting local delicacies at a nearby restaurant.
Begin your morning at Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, where panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley await. Afterward, head to Patan Durbar Square, famous for its intricate temples, ancient courtyards, and exceptional metal and wood craftsmanship. Explore the Patan Museum to learn about Nepal's rich artistic heritage before returning to Kathmandu for a relaxing evening.
Take a day trip to Bhaktapur, a beautifully preserved medieval city renowned for its traditional architecture, pottery, and vibrant local culture. Visit Nyatapola Temple, the 55-Window Palace, and Pottery Square before continuing to Nagarkot, a scenic hill station offering spectacular Himalayan views. Stay until sunset if weather permits, then return to Kathmandu for the night.
Travel to Chandragiri Hills via cable car and enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range. Visit the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple located at the hilltop and spend time exploring the surrounding viewpoints. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out of your hotel.
